I've tried to uninstall and clear out parallels folders as suggested. I've run plough Utility to Repair Permissions. I've also ensured that Internet sharing is tuned off before I go away i've also tried the sudo./preflight workaround suggested elsewhere - I'm no advance forward - although the installer seems to freeze. Activity observe says that it is comfort running.
